Accessibility statement

1. Our commitment

Class Prayer is supplied to schools across the UK, including bodies in scope of the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the public website and the authenticated planning tools, and we treat accessibility as a continuous obligation rather than a one-off audit.

2. What we have done

• Semantic HTML, descriptive page titles, and a single H1 per route.
• Keyboard navigation across the planner, slide deck, and account flows.
• Visible focus states and skip-to-content patterns on long pages.
• Sufficient colour contrast in our Sacred Minimalism palette (parchment / navy / gold).
• Alt text on meaningful images; decorative imagery marked as such.
• Forms with associated labels and ARIA hints where native semantics are insufficient.
• Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference.

3. Known limitations

We are honest about gaps so schools can plan around them. As of the date above, the following are known and on our roadmap:

• Some generated PDF exports do not yet carry full tagged-PDF structure for screen readers; the on-screen view of the same content is fully accessible.
• A small number of legacy icons lack programmatic names; we are migrating to the lucide icon set with explicit `aria-label`s.
• The slide presenter is optimised for mouse and keyboard; touch-only gestures on tablets are improving in upcoming releases.

4. How to report an accessibility issue

If you cannot access part of Class Prayer, please email info@classprayer.app with the page address, the device and assistive technology you are using, and a brief description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and to publish a fix or a workaround within twenty working days.

5. Enforcement

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) in England, Wales and Scotland, or the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
